Paleo Turkey Crockpot Chili

This Paleo Turkey Crockpot Chili is a hearty and tasty meal that is great for cold days. It's gluten-free and paleo-friendly because it's made with lean ground turkey, vegetables, and spices.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can 14 oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 can 6 oz tomato paste
  • 1 can 4 oz diced green chilies
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings: avocado slices, chopped cilantro, lime wedges

Instructions:

The ground turkey should be cooked in a pan over medium-low heat until it turns brown

Mix cooked turkey with tomato paste, diced green chilies, chicken broth, cumin, paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper in a crockpot

Add diced onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, tomato paste, and green chilies

Make sure to stir everything together well

Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chili is thick and the flavors are well mixed

If you want, you can serve it hot and top it with avocado slices, chopped cilantro, and lime wedges
